Conservative & Beautiful

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Modern composite fillings that protect the tooth and disappear into your smile.

Cavities are still one of the most common dental problems — but treating them has never been more comfortable, conservative or natural-looking. At Turnagain Dental, every filling is placed with the precision of a cosmetic restoration.

Why Tooth-Colored Composite

  • Bonds directly to the tooth, reinforcing it from within
  • Removes less healthy tooth structure than older silver fillings
  • Matched exactly to the shade of your natural enamel
  • Mercury-free and metal-free
  • Can also be used to repair chips, close small gaps and reshape teeth

What to Expect

Most fillings are completed in a single, comfortable visit. After gently numbing the area, Dr. Kennedy removes the decay, prepares the tooth, and layers the composite material — sculpting and curing each layer for a precise, strong bond. The bite is checked and polished so it feels completely natural.

Replacing Old Silver Fillings

Older amalgam fillings can crack, leak or stain the surrounding tooth over time. Many of our patients choose to replace them with tooth-colored composite or porcelain inlays for a healthier, better-looking smile.

Inlays & Onlays

When a cavity is too large for a standard filling but doesn't yet require a full crown, an inlay or onlay is often the ideal solution. These custom porcelain restorations are bonded into place for a strong, conservative repair.

Preventing Future Cavities

Regular hygiene visits, fluoride and good home care are the best protection against new decay. Ask our team about sealants, prescription-strength fluoride and the dietary habits that make the biggest difference.
